I’d argue it’s because most of us sit on chairs far too much and they are underused and overlooked!

Luckily, here’s 6 simple exercises you can do to fire 🔥 up that derrière and wake up your core so that you’re prepped and ready to lunge, hinge and squat!
.
Use a resistance band that actually challenges you and shoot for a minimum of 2 minutes per exercise. Main priority is  getting maximum engagement of the glutes 🍑 and core.

60 minutes of exercise a week is going to take you a loooong time to see and feel change.

Crushing your training sessions 4 days a week but eating like a hungover adolescent on a weekend is also not going to yield any good results!

This is the key to building good foundational strength that actually translates in to the full thing.

If you’re JUST starting out your fitness journey I would suggest practising your push ups up against  a wall (and getting very good at them) and gradually lowering the angle as you get stronger 💪🏽
.
The final phase is to build resilience through your upper body by introducing NEGATIVES/ECCENTRICS.
.
Aim for 3-5 seconds on the way down and come back up on your knees if you have to initially.
.
I promise you if you phase your push up journey like this, you will one day have your first full push up!
.
